  • Last we spoke, or last I posted, and you read, I perhaps delved deeper into the first episode of Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power than intended. Not that I mind being detailed and long-winded, but I had planned to cover more ground than I managed to. So far, you’ve heard…

  • The year 2020 of the pre-pandemic age. That January, before the world turned into the chaotic mess, Amazon revealed the full title of their Tolkien-inspired show–The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.  Since that announcement, much has transpired–for good and evil. Here follows the review of episodes one through three of The Rings…

  • Since last I shared about my freelance writing journey, many things have occurred, which have led me to this post about my gigs on gigs on gigs. Freelance life is quite nebulous, aside from the deadlines, that is. It’s a balance between flow and structure. Such harmony is difficult to maintain with this dichotomy of…

  • Do you have Happy Places? I’m sure you do. Whether in a creative mindset, out in nature, dining at your favorite restaurant, or just being “here” with your person, we all have “places” that make us happy in specific ways. Being the sentimental and nostalgic romantic I am, I have several Happy Places. For this…
