Another year is drawing to a close, and even though I don’t have a Spotify account to share my 2023 wrapped, I can provide a broad recap of the past 12 months.

January

Redesigned my website’s look and overall vibe

February

Experienced by first Harlequin romance novel and wrote a blog about it

March

Drew the world map for my in-progress novel

April

Watched “MICHIGAN: An American Portrait,” a PBS documentary for which I handled public relations and digital media

May

Read the sweetest note that came with a sweet treat

June

Harkened back to my CTAC days and wrote about the School of Ballet’s June production, “Mothra, The Ballet”

July

Rediscovered a childhood favorite while freshening up library book spine labels

August

Spread the freelancing word by taking two Writing Dailey mugs overseas

September

Attended the Festival of the Book and heard author Erin A. Craig speak

October

Crushed “Fourth Wing” in preparation for “Iron Flame

November

Attended the first meeting of Lit w/ Literature at Muskrat Distilling

December

Added three new businesses/organizations to my client list – more on this in the coming months!

This year has afforded me and Writing Dailey many experiences, much growth, and tons of reading opportunities, and 2024 promises much the same. Cheers to the next 12 months and all the challenges, victories, and great reads ahead!
